Designing has hit a bit of a road block because I've been dealing with every knitters worst nightmare - moths. Yes, those moths, the ones with a voracious appetite for wool. The worst part is, I discovered them exactly one year and a day after the first infestation last January. Clearly, I had not obliterated them. Luckily, I caught on almost immediately and was able to contain the little buggers before they spread. *fingers crossed*
Only one bag of yarn remnants was lost. Everything else is in the freezer.
The class is at one of my favorite LYS's, Happy Knits. Gudrun will go over the techniques and patterns of Shetland Lace knitting. She was born in Shetland and her Mum was a knit wear designer before her, so she was literally born to teach this class. It is a rare opportunity and I feel super lucky to be part of it. I can't wait to learn more!
